Jackson Hole Visit

November 20th, 2011 · 2 Comments

Little Man and I bummed along with Husband on his business trip this past week. We visited some little towns throughout Eastern Wyoming but spent the bulk of the trip in Jackson Hole. This was my first trip there and it was beautiful. We got to stay in a swanky lodge at the base of [...]

Uncles, Soon-to-be-fiance & Cousin Visit

November 14th, 2011 · 2 Comments

We had a group of visitors from BYU for the weekend: 2 of Husband’s younger brothers, one of their girlfriends and Husband’s cousin. They brought such a fun vibe in the house. We loved having them here, but Charlie was ecstatic…running around in circles belly laughing classifies as ecstatic.
I made lots of homemade goodness for [...]

Lion King

November 10th, 2011 · 2 Comments

Last night, Husband and I went out on the town and saw the Broadway production of The Lion King. The show was In.Cred.I.Ble. We had great seats and sat on the aisle so we could see the performers parade in. If you go, sitting on the aisle is a must!
Before the show, we also got [...]

Nana’s Visit

November 8th, 2011 · 2 Comments

Aside from Halloween, we did lots of fun things with my mom while she was in town. Little Man adores his Nana. They’re kindred spirits. We love having her in town, but she’s a bad influence on my wallet and shopping. Let it be known, on our own we rarely to never go shopping, but [...]

Halloween 2011

November 3rd, 2011 · No Comments

Little Man really got the Halloween concept this year. I think he was pretty amazed all he had to say was “Tick or Treat, Peasssse” and get candy. He was the most scrumptious burger around and Husband and I were his In-N-Out worker sidekicks. We loved having Nana in town for the festivities.

I didn’t enjoy pushing my way through the Vatican museum because it’s a one-way path crammed [...]

We went to our community Halloween Fest last weekend, mainly to just get our free pumpkin.
Our Little Hamburger loved the bounce house. His costume will be more complete on Halloween.

Europe Day 9: Rome

October 24th, 2011 · No Comments

Thursday morning, we woke up early and walked down to the Colosseum. Husband tried to tell me about Rome and how there is history every where you look, but to see it on every other corner with my own eyes was spectacular. Thanks to Rick Steves’ audio tour we learned some new, fascinating things about [...]

Europe Day 8: Venice

October 20th, 2011 · 3 Comments

The next morning, we had breakfast in our room. We ordered hot chocolate and it was literally melted chocolate. It came in the cutest, little, silver tea pots.

We checked out of our hotel and explored a little more before we caught our train to Rome.

Fall Walk

October 19th, 2011 · No Comments

We took advantage of our beautiful, crisp Fall weather and joined our friends for a walk. Mid-way through, Charlie and Pres got out to play in the leaves. These two are crazy together. Don’t forget that baby Crew was there too; he is such a good baby.
