7 Years ago my man knelt on one knee and asked, “Elizabeth Anne Bowman, will you marry me?” Swoon. The next day I hung up a paper chain in my apt living room, counting down the days till the wedding. My roommates were/are awesome to put up with my obnoxious behavior.
It was a perfectly exciting, surprising, confusing and romantic night. Mmmmm love those college, love memories.
To celebrate, I took Husband out on the town. He drove and paid, so technically I only planned it. We had a rejuvenating night at the temple, followed by a foodie dinner (fig jam and prosciutto bruschetta, and gourmet, wood fired pizzas). I love the immediate peace the temple brings, and that everything is focused on Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and reinforces our individual, divine worth.
You’re a goon and the best decision I’ve ever made.
