Husband and I dined at the yummiest place tonight for 5280 Restaurant Week. I read an article about ChoLon Bistro in a magazine and several reviews; I knew we must try it.

Tasting course: French onion soup w gruyere dumplings and Asian wings w blue cheese

First course: coconut, cauliflower soup w winter vegetables

Entree: Szechuan chicken w peanut sauce
Wok: shrimp fried rice
Dessert: salted peanut ice cream w chocolate molten cake and homemade marshmallows

Start to finish it was absolutely delicious. It also helped that the restaurant had a great local and fun atmosphere (the head chef moved from NYC). This is one of my fav kind of dates.
