The time has come. Little Man is in his Big Boy Bed. Is this experience over documented? Yes. Do I care? No.
I came home and found Husband “fixing” Little Man’s crib and although we had decided on converting it, it caught me completely off guard and I started bawling. I remember picking out that crib, being hugely pregnant and putting it together, and I can vividly remember the first time I ever laid my sweet baby boy in it. I asked Husband how will I ever be able to send him on his 2-year mission. Husband’s reply, “Honey, how are you going to make it through sending him to kindergarten?”
Alas, it was the right time and Little Man L-O-V-E-S it, although he insists that it’s just broken. Knock on wood, we have had no problems. He still goes to bed great, sleeps through the night and still getting up at the same time. And nap time you ask? Well, let’s just say he’s going on a 3+ hr nap right now.

Crew has started climbing in and out of his crib and he won’t be two til next month. I want him to be safe but I love the containment….:)

Wow—that bed is amazing. Once we’re out of this one-bedroom and in need of a crib I will be giving you a call.
