We were so impressed with last year’s snow sculptures that we decided to make this an annual trip. Yesterday, we drove up to Breckenridge and enjoyed the beautiful weather and amazing works of art. Aside from hitting ski traffic both ways, we had a perfect day.
Charlie loved being able to play on the Kids’ Snow [...]

I’m a self-proclaimed sucker for “The Bachelor.” I’ve watched every…single…season; all 15 of them. Many people say they grew up with the Cosbys or Tanners, but you could say I grew up with “The Bachelor.” I freely admit this. I’ve even thought, “They should totally do a ‘Mormon Bachelor’ show.” Pretty much the same concept [...]

Forget about the 30+ degree weather, we took advantage of another free day at the Denver Zoo. Our friends Alysa & Presley joined us for the adventure. Charlie and Presley loved riding in the wagon together and enjoyed one another’s company more than the animals. As always, the giraffes were a hit but the streak, [...]

…and ready to go to church. We’re almost to the countdown of when Charlie will go to nursery (18 months and he’s off). Believe it or not, I’m not quite ready for this day. So, until then I’m loving my Little Man all dressed up and being our honorary Sunbeam.

While my mom was in town, we bought supplies to make our own cake stands. My friend, Kelly, gifted me one for my birthday and I thought it was adorable. Aside from having to reapply the glue, it was pretty simple:
{Step 1: Gather supplies…Locktite from the hardware store, candlesticks & plates}
{Apply Locktite to each material [...]

Our friends invited us to join them and their posse at beautiful Estes Park for MLK weekend. We rented a couple of cabins and let the festivities begin. Games, relaxing, food, more games, hot tubbing, Sunday drive through the Rockies, more food and lots o’ fun wraps up the trip. We had a blast and [...]

We celebrate half-birthdays in our abode. Why not? Remember this celebration or this one?
Last night, we celebrated Husband’s 29.5.
I finally got my hands on one of Oprah’s Harry & David’s chicken pie.
I also made Husband’s favorite ice cream: Pioneer Woman’s Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. The vanilla bean in lieu of vanilla extract makes a HUGE [...]

Little Man is a hoot. He’s singing, playing hide-n-seek, teasing us and just plain fun. A couple of weeks ago, Husband dumped out his Mega Blocks and put the bag on his head. Today, I was prepping somethin’ special for Husband’s half-birthday celebration and found Little Man running up to me like this:
{This is his [...]

One of the best Christmases I can remember, was when I received my Samantha American Girl doll. We were at my Nana & Papa’s for the holiday. I thought I was all done opening presents when my parents said, “Sissy, I think there’s one more present.” I looked on the side of the couch and [...]
