Today, we went to the Pumpkin Fest our HOA put on at the Grange. Good thing our $$ is being put to use.
They did a great job with the festivities. There was everything from…
…a petting zoo,
…to meeting ELMO,
{Surprisingly, Charlie didn’t freak out. He even gave him a “High 5″ even though he has no, Earthly [...]

Tonight, we had a great Halloween party at church. Everyone decorated their trunks and the kids went around Trunk-or-Treating. Clever.
Our little familia went with a “safari” theme this year. Sadly, we didn’t win the costume contest (we’ll just have to stock the ballots next year;) but we had so much fun monkeyin’ around. Ba da [...]

Today for Playgroup, all of the kids dressed up in their Halloween garb. We lasted at the park for about 10min before the wind drove us inside. Kelly & Talon were gracious enough to have everyone over. It was so fun to see the kids in their costumes. Charlie loved playing with all of his [...]

We carried on our family tradition tonight and carved our pumpkins. Husband is usually the methodical & meticulous carver and somehow this year he finished before me. Charlie LOVED painting his pumpkin.
At first, he was excited…
Next, he had to check it out…
Then, he wasn’t quite so sure anymore…
But in the end, once the paints came [...]

I didn’t get any pictures of us playing because we’re so hard core {read: [...]

While Janet was in town, she was kind enough to do an impromptu photo shoot of our little family. Husband & I also took turns stepping behind the camera. Hopefully I’m not spoiling our Christmas card photo.
(we’re such first-time parents, I know)
Any particular [...]

Today, I taught Charlie an appreciation for animals. First, we observed them at the Denver Zoo and then, we dined on them at Cafe Rio.
We took advantage of yet another FREE day at the zoo and enjoyed the PEFECT fall weather. Mr. Observant was out of his stroller for 90% of the visit, analyzing and recording [...]

Today, Charlie & I explored the adorable shops of downtown Littleton with our friends Alysa & Presley. There was a little bit of fall color but mostly beautiful fall weather. Miss P & Mr. C were great little shoppers and it’s always fun to get together with Alysa. We stopped by the cute little shop [...]

One of my most favorite Fall memories as a child was going to the pumpkin patch. Yesterday, we carried on the tradition and took Charlie to his first patch. It was the best bona fide, pick your pumpkin from the vine patch with a gorgeous backdrop of the mountains. We had so much fun watching [...]
