Yesterday we took advantage of the Denver Art Museum’s free day. Tell you what, they know how to do it up right. They had ipod listening stations everywhere and rather than checking out a headphone and cassette to hear about the art, there were cell phone numbers by some of the major pieces that you would call, for free, and hear the actual artist talk about his or her work. How cool is that? We’ve determined Charles has an early appreciation for culture; he was a doll baby throughout the entire museum even amidst teething.

After the museum we checked out “the best burger” according to 5280 magazine. Remember our quest? The burger at Encore was delish but what really sent it over the top was its Gruyere, blue cheese, and apple cider smoked bacon compote. The side of house cut, thin fries with hot mustard drizzle wasn’t too bad either.

When all was said and done, we came home for a family nap and fell even more in love with our little man.
