were hung by the chimney with care…

I just, literally about 10 minutes ago, finished sewing Charlie’s stocking. I’m elated with how it turned out and it would not have been possible without my Aunt Nene’s help. She is a gifted artist and sketched the pattern of the ski boot.
My family’s tradition is to have their stocking be a shoe which represents them. My childhood stocking is a ballet slipper, my brothers have cowboy boots, my dad has a football cleat, etc.
Steven decided a cowboy boot didn’t really represent the city slicker’s son, so he chose a ski boot. I love it. After this Christmas, Steven’s childhood stocking will be retired so his mom can have all of the boys’ stockings. I already have an idea for what I want to do for Steven. Until next year…

Sis, That stocking is awsome! I give it a 10. The best one I have seen so far.
Merry Christmas
