Brad, Yvette & Brody’s Visit

November 15th, 2009 by Elizabeth · 2 Comments

We’ve been busy with visitors and absolutely love it. The day Janet left is also the day that Brad’s family arrived for a visit. Brody couldn’t get enough of “Baby Charlie.” He was so concerned with where he was, if he was crying, giving him loves and helping out with his bink.

While they were here, we ventured to the “best sushi in town” for my final trial of whether or not I like sushi. The verdict, I thoroughly enjoyed Sushi Den (one roll in particular) but I don’t think I’m quite ready to go to some random place. We also went up to the old mining mountain town of Evergreen. We ate at the yummy Wildflower Cafe, walked around the shops, watched the ducks by the river and polished off the adventure with the most delicious donuts at a little bakery. Yum. We can’t wait for you guys to come back and visit so Brody & Charlie can play some more!

Sushi Den, such a fun atmosphere in Washington Park.

Brody “helping” with Charlie’s bink.

Evergreen.

Charlie loved basking in the sunshine while cuddled in my arms.
