Our Charles is two weeks old today. TWO WEEKS! I find the time flying by way too fast so I’m trying to soak in all of the little moments of him even more.
Last Friday, we went to the doctor for his two week check-up; from the get-go it was a trip to remember. After stripping him down to his skibbies so they could measure him, I lifted him off the table and he let a bomb from his behind plummet all over the office carpet. No biggie. Stay calm. Then it was time to weigh him. I set him on the scale, took my hands off of him and then he did a water works show and I don’t mean tears. Needless to say, Charlie marked his territory in every way.
It was a great appointment and extra special because my mom got to be there, more on that Saint of a Mom/Nana later. We love our pediatrician and he says Charlie looks nice and healthy.

Those first outings can be crazy! It’s like you have to remember to bring two spare outfits and ten spare diapers just to run to the grocery store!

OH HOW ADORABLE!!! I have loved looking at your entries! WOW! Time flies! He is already 2 weeks old. I think it just keeps getting faster…. Isaac is already 2 months old. Before you know it… they won’t be babies anymore and they will try and be more independent. Bitter sweet.
