Husband and I had so much fun hosting my Mom and Dad for a few days; although they spoil us so much when they’re in town it felt like we were the ones being hosted. Because Mom surprised me in Salt Lake, she then flew to Denver with me so we could spend a few more days together before Dad drove up for the weekend.

We thought it would be a restful week, but we were busy going on baby shopping sprees, nesting in Baby’s nursery, getting pedi and manis and dining on copious amounts of chocolate cake.

When Dad came into town we finished up some more nesting projects, went to the temple, saw Julie and Julia (now I really want that cookbook), visited Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and had the perfect BBQ pool-side finished with a round of Spades.
