Husband and I are excited and equally relieved to announce we finally know where we’ll be moving: CHICAGO!

Just kidding, DENVER! You guessed right. Steven had a final interview/welcome to-the-team from his future boss’s boss, he’s a pretty big deal, last night. He didn’t answer the phone when Steven tried calling him for their original appointment earlier in the day, come to find out his meeting with the Secretary of the Navy ran over…pretty good reason, huh?

The office is located in Englewood, which is a suburb of Denver. Steven will be working in the public sector and focusing on competitors. This is an amazing opportunity for him to gain a greater foundation in the company as well as its competitors and work closely with someone high in the chain of command. He was already warned that he’ll be worked to the bone and will have some travel. I told Steven that’s fine as long as he could give me a few days notice so we can ask Nana Bowman, and any other willing relatives, to come to town for a “visit.”

While we’re sad about not getting to go to Oklahoma, we’re so thankful for how everything is working out. I’ll probably have to do my apartment search and signing virtually again, so let’s hope it works out just as well for Denver as it did for our current place.
