…and no, I’m not talking about Obama taking the Presidential Seat.
Remember how Husband and I were so excited to announce that after the program we would be moving to Oklahoma, but there was still a slight (like maybe 5-10%) chance our assignment would change? Well, that change has come.
It feels so extremely bitter-sweet to write this. Husband and I will officially not be moving to Oklahoma. We found out on Monday; however, we are so very thankful to still have such a wonderful job in this economy. We’re completely switching gears and somewhat starting the process over. We don’t know exactly where we’ll be transferred, but should know either this or next week. We actually got to boil it down to a few cities from a list, which was nice.
Denver was on the list, and we are sending up EXTRA prayers because we would LOVE to go there. (Please feel free to join us in the effort.) In fact, the first go-round we had a hard time deciding between Oklahoma and Denver; so if we got Denver, that would be peachy. If not, I know we’ll be starting off on a new adventure in a brand new city and state.
I’m trying not to think about the memories we’ll miss out on not living in Oklahoma: being so close to wonderful family and friends, delivering an Okie baby, have our babe form that special bond with Nana & Papa and cousins that I’ve seen happen with my other nephews, buying our first home, eating Ted’s setup whenever the heck I want. Okay, I have to stop there…prego tears are starting to come. I’m just trying to remain positive and know that we are “seriously so blessed.”
I’m continually thankful to our Heavenly Father for such a loving and talented Husband who is such a wonderful provider for our little family. So here’s to new adventures for the Cramer family…

So sorry; I know that must be really disappointing. Great attitude, though…you guys will do great wherever you go!

Ah, the twisted inner workings of the company that signs both our husbands’ paychecks. I’m sorry to hear about that. I hope you get to find out where you’re going soon, though!
