was so much fun. I surprised Husband with brunch. We dined on crepes adorned with fresh strawberries and bananas, nutella, and whipped cream.

He brought home beautiful flowers. I love roses, but I think it’s ridiculous how they jack up the price on V-Day so I specifically ask to not receive roses on this holiday.

Then, Husband took me to see Confessions of a Shopaholic…my reaction deserves a post on it’s own BUT before the movie started I reached into my purse to pull out the orange I brought to snack on during the movie and I found these little yummies instead:

Girl Scout Caramel Delights AKA Samoas
Calorically, they’re much higher than my orange but it was such a sweet and COMPLETE surprise (I’m hard to surprise).
To top off the day, we also received a V-Day package from Momma Bowman with her traditional, cinnamon suckers and a new game!

It’s kinda silly that there’s one day dedicated for monetarily capitalizing on the emotion of love, but I’m a sucker. I love it.

just so you know, SEQUENCE is one of the best games ever! I feel it has flown under the radar but we love playing it with other couples and opening a new world to the boardgaming experience!
