Saturday night Husband took me on a culturally enriching date. Way back in July, Husband and I bought season tickets to the touring Broadway shows. Six months later, we get to enjoy the fruits of our purchase.
We went to Brightleaf Square in downtown Durham for some yummy pineapple gelato & dulce de leche cheesecake at the cute Amelia’s Cafe. Then we popped over to the brand new Durham Performing Arts Center, where we sat in our fabulous seats and watched Rent. I loved the vocals; Husband thought the performance left little to the imagination. We’re glad we started off with this one and can’t wait for the other upcoming shows.

hey elizabeth!
here’s the link on how to make the pops. they are adorable but take a while. She has lots of other cute ideas:

she calls for the wilton cutters, i have wilton and williams sanoma cutter and the william sanoma worked the best. the wilton was a little too big.
the cutters are in the bakery section at WS and come in a little tin with several other shapes. i think they are called pastry cutters or something like that.
