I’m currently sending up prayers for all of the people involved in the US Airways Flight 1549 crash. Sounds like everyone made it out fine but I can only imagine the added complications of the frigid water. This flight was leaving Laguardia Airport and heading to Charlotte, NC. This is hitting home a little too close. Husband and I are going to NYC this weekend. SURPRISE!
Charlotte/Raleigh…Laguardia/JFK…hits home a little too close especially since one of my greatest fears involves drowning.

Elizabeth. I am not even lying. My first thought when I heard about this was, “Damn birds.”
So glad that everyone made it off the plane alive.

Oh gosh…we have the news on all day. When I heard the reason for the crash, my initial thought was, “I hate birds.”

seriously…. birds… the “flight attorney” that commented about it basically said that if it wasn’t right there for him to see he wouldn’t have believed it…. sounds almost like a terrorist cover-up. “yeah.. and then these huge birds just ran into the plane… couldn’t do a thing…” so random. glad they are all ok. you kids will be too!
