Readers!
As you may or may not know, I love Wife. I think (and this is not in any way biased at all) she’s the most amazing, most beautiful, most amazing, most sensitive, most incredible person that I know. Did I say most amazing? And it’s always a pleasure to me to try to show, a least in my small way, how much she means to me. For Wife’s birthday, we played it fairly low key since we’re going to DISNEY WORLD TOMORROW! Let me say that again, DISNEY WORLD TOMORROW! That being said, I still wanted Wife to feel special, and so allow me to recount the day’s celebrations.
Way-to-early-to-reason-properly a.m.: Steven attempts to wake up to make Wife breakfast. Hits snooze instead.
Only-slightly-less-earlier a.m.: Steven staggers out of bed like a swamp monster taking sheets and pillows with him. Heads to kitchen.
20 mins later: Steven realizes he’s in a closet. Attempts to rectify the situation.
Much later: Finally concocts some semeblance of breakfast and successfully delivers it to Wife in bed without spilling much OJ.
After the morning celebrations I had to leave to go to work so we can go to DISNEYWORLD TOMORROW!
Later that evening that we went to a lovely Italian restaurant with live music and excellent food. The whole day ended with a carrot cake birthday cake for my amazing best friend.
These things and this post and just a feeble attempt to tell you, readers, how much I love my wife. I am the luckiest guy in the world to have such an amazing person by my side for the rest of my life and beyond. Happy birthday Wife.

Aw, sweetheart you’re AMAZING! haha now that we’ve lost all readers to our ooey-gooeyness. Just thought I should clarify: CARROT CAKE FROM SCRATCH! You are the best; I had a fabulous day yesterday. Thank you!

It has been a while since I have talked with you (like 3 years??)! I can see that you all are doing fabulous and I look forward to more updates. Check out mine and Tom’s blog whenever you get the chance (twohotrods.blogspot.com). And, I have to say, I am quite jealous about the Disneyworld trip…I hope you all have a blast!!!!

P.S.–I was just browsing through your blog and saw that you went to the John Mayer concert in Dallas. Weirdly enough, Tom and I were there, too! And, we were also stuck in the 1-1/2 hour-awful-crazy traffic on I-30 (we eventually went through the scary downtown area to avoid it!). We have been living in Dallas (Tom got a job here) since this past January and are loving the warm weather.
