Last weekend, Steven and I spent the weekend in Salt Lake with the Cramers for a last “hoorah.” Ironically, we still have a family reunion to attend with them, but nonetheless, this was an official celebration for one of the last times the fam will be together.
The weekend started with a hike and tin foil lunches up Mill Creek Canyon. It’s amazing how far away you can feel when in all actuality you’re only 15 min. up the canyon. The Cramer boys used to make tin foil dinners and go up the canyon to eat them, so they were all reminicising over the good ol’ days.
After the jaunt up the canyon, we went directly to the bowling alley. Before bowling, I announced to the family, and much to their dismay, that bowling was the one sport I am not competitive at…I think a sigh of relief fell upon each of their faces. Joe leaned over to me and dreamily expressed his desire to have his name stenciled above the lane and join the ranks with other bowling legends. I gave an encouragingly “Oh Joe” laugh…but in all actuality, he really IS good.
That evening we went to the neighborhood pool to take a dip. Steven and I didn’t have our swimsuits, but that didn’t stop him from jumping in the pool to play with the nephews.
Later that night, I succumbed and found a Wii “party game” (thanks Dan) that Nic and I became slightly addicted to. We rounded off the weekend with a fabulous grilled Father’s Day meal.
We loved every minute of the fun-packed weekend with the fam.

So, those pictures were long overdue… and simply did not satisfy my need for Cramer goodness. All the same, love reading about what you’re up to!
