A story. Wife and I have the privilege of teaching 6 year olds at our church. They are a wiley group to say the least. Well this past Sunday we were in Sharing Time with the whole Primary kids and we were sitting front row. The missionaries stopped by to share a lesson with us all. (U’all?) It was on repentance and the missionary used the example of playing baseball in the backyard. You break a window with the ball so now you’re upset cause you can’t pay for it and your mom’s upset cause the window’s done broked. The missionary reached the critcal point of the lesson, the coup d’etat, that one defining moment that will shape the very foundation of the rest of these sweet children’s precious lives. He sets this up with the question to the younglings, “What could you do to make everybody feel better?”
And readers, our little Hunter raised his hand eagerly (from the FRONT ROW) and said in the most innocent, angelic voice,”Lie?”
Best. Lesson. Ever.
