Easter Weekend/Jeffapalooza

March 24th, 2008 by Steven · 4 Comments

Faithful readers may be aware that Wife and I are pretty big on the “something-slash-something else” posts. We really don’t mean to, it’s just that we have always have schmorgasbord events mixed up into one big one. Take for example this weekend. This weekend marks the last weekend that my little brother Jeff will be spending with us before heading off to Puerto Rico for a two year mission. So that being said we tried to cram as much in as we could. Friday night we watched “Horton Hears a Who” (Quick seven word review: Extremely well-cast movie with highlarious comedic chuckles)

Saturday Wife and I also became aware that the color scheme for the family pictures that day had shifted from warm earth tones to cool steels and grays. (Don’t ask me what any of those previous words mean cause I have no idear) So we took a quick jaunt to the store…..in Orem to try to accomodate the color palette. Luckily we worked everything out and we took fabulous pictures. This year was a first for the Cramer Family. We decided to take the pictures outside. Readers, this is a huge deal. Let’s take a walk down memory lane. I present the last Cramer family picture taken outside:

Needless to say we all were very excited to try it again and truth be told I think the pictures are going to be fabulous. The next day was Jeff’s farewell. He did an excellent job and is going to be a fantastic missionary. We’re so proud of him going on this journey and can’t wait to support him and write him letters! (Or think about him sometimes on Sundays!) In true Mormon fashioin we had a big old party led by the ladies (Wife, Mother, Sister-in-laws) and just had a blasty blast hanging out and reminiscing about our missions. All in all it was an incredible weekend and we had so much fun with everybody. Enjoy some eyeball-melting pictures.

We had a pinata to celebrate Puetro Rico even though it promotes violence against flambouyantly dressed animals
