I absolutely adore Color Me Mine. My fascination began with this place when I was about 12 yrs. old and begged my dad to let me go to the one in Foothill Village while I was visiting my grandparents. My first project was a picture frame shaped like a crown painted in purples, greens and yellows…interesting, I know. I remember sitting and soaking it all in and I instantly knew I had found my mecca. Ten years and a few projects later, my craft affair has only grown stronger.
A couple of weekends ago, Steven and I decided we needed to return for another “cultural” enriching date night. Since we only have one mug (we either share a cup of hot coco or one of us has to use a glass) of course we simply had to go and decorate some mugs. We had SO much fun painting and chatting while listening to great music. Whenever I do return to Color Me Mine, I’m always reminded that it’s been way too long since our last encounter. The affair continues…

I’m so proud of Steven for his masterpiece…mind you, last time we went to Color Me Mine, he painted a mug: yellow on the inside and orange on the outside…he was a titch more daring this time and I think it worked out fabulously well for him.
My mug makes me want to curl up and have a big, rather HUGE, cup of hot coco, which I have YET to do.
