Saturday night, Steven and I had the opportunity to attend my work’s Prism Awards Gala at the Riverside Country Club in Provo. The evening honors the best-of-the-best in Utah County residential building. We are not afraid to admit how much we thoroughly enjoyed adorning ourselves in our “best dress.”
Steven looked utterly dashing in a classic, black tuxedo (thanks to his father’s fashion closet) with a new bow-tie…that’s right ladies, my man knows how to tie and wear a REAL bow tie, none of this clip-on junk. I am happy to say that I have joined the fashion ranks of The Little Black Dress club. I found a fabulous Calvin Klein dress for an insane deal (ummm, can you say originally $180 marked down to $40?).
The evening was extremely enjoyable, minus some technical difficulties RIGHT BEFORE the awards show but let’s not delve into that shall we? Afterwards, we took a stroll through Pier One Imports and B&N (Barnes & Noble) kinda random I know. All-in-all it was a fabulous evening, and I think we both could get used to lavish nights out on the town!

If we look a little tense, it’s because this is right before the event started…remember how I mentioned technical difficulties…ummm ya we just got through with them with literally NO time to spare.

“G-L-A-M-O-R-OUS”

By the end of evening, we discovered we didn’t have any full-body shots so we had to have our own little photo-shoot…we’re dorks we know it and we fully love and embrace it!

Ow-ow!!! Lookin’ good. Everyone needs a little black dress. That’s awesome that you found a hot little number that wasn’t indecent and was one sale, no less.
I read all my friends blogs through my RSS reader, but your website doesn’t register through my RSS reader, so I forget to check it until I’m way behind and have a lot of catching up to do! Ah well!
